Cargo that cannot simply be replaced if it goes wrong

Who this is for

Galleries, exhibition organisers, auction and collection managers, luxury and lifestyle brands, and private clients moving pieces where handling matters more than price.

Cargo we typically move here

  • Artworks, sculpture and installation pieces
  • Exhibition and fair material against a fixed install date
  • Watches, jewellery and luxury goods
  • Antiques and collections requiring specialist packing

The problem

What usually goes wrong in this sector

Two hard constraints at once

The cargo is fragile and the date cannot move. Either constraint on its own is manageable. Together they rule out most of the routings a standard quote would offer.

Handling is invisible in a rate

Nothing in a price per kilo tells you how the piece will be packed, who will lift it, or how many times it will be transferred between vehicles before it arrives.

Documentation and value declaration

High value and cultural goods attract scrutiny at customs. Getting the declaration, valuation and paperwork right in advance is what keeps a piece moving instead of sitting in an inspection queue.

How we work on it

What we do differently here

We plan backwards from the install

The date on the wall is the fixed point. Routing, buffer and contingency are built around it, and we tell you honestly where the risk sits rather than quoting a best case.

Packing and handling specified in advance

How the piece is crated, how it is oriented, who handles it and how often it changes vehicle are decisions we make with you before booking, not choices left to whoever is on shift.

Insurance on declared value, explained

Cover arranged against the real value, with the exclusions explained in plain language before the piece moves.

The first thing we will ask you

What is your install date, and what is the most fragile or valuable piece in this shipment?

Describe the movement, not just the lane

The cargo, the constraint and the date it has to be there. That is enough for us to come back with something useful rather than a number with conditions attached.
